We rent the caravan to go to the Milan's Fair. We got an almost new caravan with all in good conditions. Even it was our first time in caravans, we take all the explanations and the tryp was very easy to make. No problems in moving and when use as a house. The doubts we solve even by mobil phone. We recomend.

We found your addressthrough internet and after asking a few questions we booked a campervan at Caravan Campeggio for 10 days. From the beginning we had a good feeling about this rental. All the questions we send by email had a very early reply by Victoria.
We arrived at Pisa airport and booked a hotel in the Pisa area for the first 2 nights. We booked the shuttle service at Caravan Campeggio together with the rental. At the agreed time Victoria picked us up at our hotel. After a free sightseeing tour around Pisa we arrived at Pistoia ad could collect the camper. The camper was in good condition and large enough for us(2 adults and 2 kids 2 + 4 years old). After inspection and installing we drive away on our tour in Toscane.
We had a good time and made a small tour in Toscane. The weather was not verry great but at the end we were on some campings at the sea and had some good weather.
After a visit to Lucca on the last day we brought the camper back to Pistoia where Victoria was ready to collect it. After inspection of the camper she brought us verry fast to our hotel for the last night in Pisa.
In a few words we can say that the company, service and Victoria were great and will recommand the company to other people. Thanks.

Somos dos familias españolas que en el mes de marzo de 2008 hicimos un viaje por el centro Europa (Norte de Italia, Austria y Hungría), queríamos realizar el viaje en autocaravana y miramos la posibilidad de alquilar una en España, pero la distancia hasta nuestro destino y el precio nos hizo pensar en otra cosa. Pero la suerte e Internet hizo que apareciera la página de Caravan Campeggio, y claro, concertar un viaje con alguien desconocido en otro idioma, hace que te lo pienses bastante. Todo esto cambio cuando hablamos con Victoria (que habla un perfecto español) y nos ofreció los servicios de alquiler de autocaravanas, dando solución a los problemas que se nos planteaban (transporte del Aeropuerto a la empresa de alquiler, equipamiento de enseres en el interior de la autocaravana, busqueda de un hotel para el último día, etc., etc.), además a unos precios razonables y muy diferentes a los que nos encontramos en España. La experiencia del viaje es totalmente positiva, y el servicio que ofrece Caravan Campeggio muy recomendable, caravanas bastante nuevas, limpias y amplia gama para poder elegir.
Para organizarte el viaje desde España puedes ir a Pisa en avión por poco dinero con compañías de bajo coste. Te van a buscar y ya puedes iniciar tu viaje en autocaravana por Italia, Austria, Croacia, Suiza, etc., además Pistoia esta muy bien situado. Habla con Victoria y empieza tu viaje….

The Caravan Campeggio team showed an extremely friendly and efficient approach. Prompted by our enquiry via internet, contact was soon thoroughly complemented with e-mail exchanges in perfect English, leading to a well specified reservation with competitive pricing. Pick-up at Pisa airport ran smoothly, unhindered by the delayed incoming flight. The caravan was as good as new and our minor request for additional kitchen accessories attended to immediately. The equipment was fully operational for the duration of our trip. Returning procedures were simple and transport to Pisa airport once again perfect. Our Camper van holiday was everything we expected and more. Victoria is worth her weight in gold. Nothing was too much trouble for her to organise for us. The standard of service from Caravan Campeggio is second to none. I would highly recommend them for a carefree camper van experience. Their vehicles are well prepared and contain most of the things you would need. The SatNav is a must for finding the campsites; although sometimes it does try to send you down roads that are totally unsuitable (there is no way to tell the thing that you are driving a 7.0 m long vehicle that is 3.1m high.) Having campsite locations in the Sat Nav would be useful.

"El pasado verano decidimos con unos amigos realizar un tour por Italia en autocaravana. Después de mucho buscar vimos que la oferta de alquiler de autocaravanas en España no salía demasiado económica: el precio que nos pedían era bastante alto, los modelos eran un tanto discretos y el trayecto en caravana de España Italia (y viceversa) iba a ser largo y caro. Finalmente se nos ocurrió la idea de alquilarla directamente en nuestro destino. Así es como descubrimos Caravan Campeggio y la verdad es que el hallazgo no pudo ser mejor. Al principio nos asustaba un poco contratar el alquiler de la caravana, por no ser un trato cara a cara, pero todo salio genial. El hecho de que hablen español ayudo mucho, llamamos por teléfono y nos atendieron muy bien, con un trato muy agradable y atento. Así que al final llegamos a Italia con nuestro coche particular, ahorrando tiempo y dinero, además pudimos dejar el coche dentro del recinto, con lo uno se queda mas tranquilo. Lo mejor fue cuando vimos la caravana, era completamente nueva, solo tenia 300km y justo cuando llegamos la acababan de limpiar. Era la primera vez que nos adentrábamos en el mundo del caravaning, pero nos explicaron como funcionaba todo con lo que no tuvimos problema (nos dieron incluso su móvil por si surgía alguna cosa).
En resumen un servicio genial a un precio ya de por si bajo y con descuentos del 30% a extranjeros, os lo recomiendo!! Seguro que quedareis tan contentos como nosotros!

Disculpanos la demora en responderte. Con la mudanza hacia Argentina, acomodar las cosas y tramitar en contra de nuestro gobierno que pone trabas por todas partes, nos tomamos un poco de tiempo para responderte. Nuestra opinión luego de la experiencia con Caravan Campeggio, podríamos resumirla de la sieguiente manera:
Desde el primer momento que comenzamos las conversaciones para alquilar la autocaravana, desde Barcelona, España, hemos encontrado la mejor buena voluntad para resolver todas las pequeñas dificultades que nos surgían, no solo con eficiencia, sino también con calidez.
Una vez convenidos todos estos detalles, su cumplimiento fue aún mejor de lo acordado: el transporte desde y hacia Pisa, el apoyo cuando tuvimos un pequeño accidente, las buenas condiciones del vehículo, la puntualidad en la entrega y la comprensión por los pequeños detalles a su devolución, fueron, como dijimos mas arriba, mejor de lo que esperábamos.
Hicimos el alquier sin conocer a las personas de Caravan Campeggio. Nos fuimos de Pistoia habiendo sido tratados como amigos. Asi nos hemos sentido y asi los recordamos.

Hello Victoria,
Everything OK with you? Our routine is back to normal. But fortunately we have a beautiful after summer. Temperatures are above 25 degr. C. So it feels like we have a little bit of vacation left. I hope the extreme busy times are over for you and you also have some time for yourself.
Ofcourse we are willing to sent you our remarks.
Service of caravan Campeggio The service, thanks to Victoria, was absolutely fantastic. It started with a call from Victoria 2 days before pick up to check if everything was still OK and where we wanted to be picked up. We chose to travel by train to Pistoia which is easy and quite comfortable. Victoria was right on time to pick us up at the station. They took enough time to explain everything to us. We asked Victoria to make a car reservation for us, so we would have transportation when we returned the camper van. Later it turned out the car rental company had made a mistake and lost our credit card data. Instead of calling us Caravan Campeggio people made the new reservation and paid for it themselves. All we had to do was pay them back we arrived to pick up the car.
The quality of the van The van was quite new. So in general the quality was good. Although we had some remarks. The finishing of the van was not perfect. When the door was closed, the door was still ajar. Little mosquito’s found there way into the van at night due to that. The sink was leaking a little bit so we could not use the tableware drawer underneath the sink because it was a little bit wet all the time. Furthermore we had a problem with charging of thebattery with the 230 V external power supply. That did not work so we had to rely on the car engine to charge the battery. The engine of the van was good. We drove on several narrow and steep slopes, but the engine was more then powerful enough. Also the mileage was good for such a big van. About 9 to 10 km per litre diesel.
General opinion of Caravan Campeggio Caravan Campeggio unique selling point (USP) is without a doubt there customer service. I have rented camper vans all over the world from the USA to South Africa and Australia. But I have never had a better service then at Caravan Campeggio. The prices are reasonable and the choice in size and camper type is good. A point for improvement would be the finishing of the interior of the van. It is not bad, but my general opinion is that it is done in a hurry without the focus on top quality. I don’t know if this is the case for all vans, but at least for the van we rented.
Overall if I had to give the company a grade from 1 to 10. I would give it an 8+. And finally a word of advise to the general management: Nourish people like Victoria because they are not so easy to find. It makes your company stand out.
That’s it. I hope you can use the comments. And don’t forget, If ever you are in the Netherlands and you need some assistance don’t hesitate to call us.

Quizá al año que viene os envíemos algún conocido ya que muchos amigos han estado interesados. Nos parece bien que publiques nuestros comentarios en vuestra web, podría ser algo así:
"La experiencia de viajar en autocaravana por Italia, ha sido fantástica; para nosotros era la primera vez que lo hacíamos así, ya que habíamos ido bastante de camping, pero siempre con tienda de campaña o en alguna cabaña. Viajábamos con dos niñas de 8 y 11 años y nos decidimos por este medio por la libertad que proporciona, al no tener que llevar los alojamientos reservados con antelación y poder cambiar de ruta en el último momento o, en un momento dado aparcar al lado de una playa. Cuando hacíamos muchos kilómetros empezábamos con las niñas dormidas, con lo cual el viaje no se les hacía largo. El único pequeño inconveniente al principio
-enseguida se supera- es la dificultad para maniobrar, pero por lo demás viajar con la casa a cuestas es genial".

we had a great holiday! it really could not have been any better. even the hotel in pisa was ok in the end. we had a great lunch in a place called il capodaglio on via del carmine, if you are ever in town!
The motorhome was great. It was big but Rory said easy to drive because of the size of engine (even through these tuscan roads!).
The two things we thought would be useful that we didnt have was a bin and also these ramp things which you put under the tyres and would level the motorhome if the pitch was unlevel. We would have used the ramps a lot in hindsight.
Apart from these things everything was perfect. The service (thanks for collecting and dropping us in town), the motorhome, the food and wine, the weather and countryside. We had a great time.

We have always been fully satisfied with the manner in which you have dealt with our requests ,
including the transfer from/to Pisa airport (transferring twelve persons & all their luggage is not easy )

Ho usato i servizi di Caravancampeggio quest’ estate, in Giugno, noleggiando un Katamarano motorcaravan che mi ha portato con la mia famiglia attraverso Italia e Francia dove abbiamo visitato una decina di castelli nella valle della Loira.
I punti di forza della Caravancampeggio sono: efficienza e gentilezza di tutto il personale; condizioni tecniche del veicolo (praticamente nuovo); appoggio via telefonino durante il periodo di noleggio per la soluzione di piccoli problemi tecnici o per informazioni relative al mezzo stesso. Da non trascurare il fatto che la sede di Caravancampeggio e’ appena fuori l’ uscita dell’ autostrada (Pistoia) che rende facile il suo raggiungimento per prendere possesso e riconsegnare il caravan.
L’ unico punto negativo registrato durante l’intenso uso del mezzo, e’ stato il facile riscaldamento della frizione durante la salita della strada che porta al traforo del Monte Bianco. Il problema e’ stato risolto fermandosi da una parte per un’ oretta finche la frizione si e’ raffreddata sufficientemente consentendoci di riprendere la strada. Nessun altro problema da segnalare.
In conclusione, la Caravancampeggio e’ sicuramente un’ impresa da tenere in considerazione per noi toscani quando si pensa a un noleggio di un mezzo nuovo o quasi per una bella vacanza, in Italia o all’ estero.

J'ai écris un petit mot pour exprimer notre experience avec vous et avec toute l'equipe, le service était super bien :
Notre séjour en Toscanië en camper en avril 2006 était formidable. Le camper loué chez Caravan Campeggio, était impéccable, très spacieux et tout comfort (donc bien pour nos 3 enfants), tout neuf et très propre, très bien équipé avec GPS ( très facile pour touver les petits coins super sympathiques en Italie), ..... Et quel luxe d’etre attentu a l’aéroport par Victoria (qui parle trés bien le Français !) et de recevoir tant d’informations et d’explications sur place concernant le mobil home, les routes, les campings...
Un service formidable et des gens extrémement gentils et flexibles. Félicitations au propriétaires et a sa merveilleuse équipe pour une semaine de vacances inoubliable. On reviendra ! A recommander à tous.

We flew from the UK to Pisa and hired a Rimor camper from Caravancampeggio for a week in October 2006 to tour the coast of Tuscany. October is great because the tourist sites are not crowded, but the weather is still fine. The vehicle we hired was only a few months old and was ideal for what we wanted. It was all in good order when we hired it. There were only two of us in what was designed as 4/5 berth vehicle, but we appreciated the space. Driving was easy even though we were unnacustomed to a left hand drive vehicle. Inevitably you will find yourself lost and squeezed through some narrow streets in Pisa rush hour surrounded by scooters but that's part of the experience!
This is a great way to see Italy. Victoria at Caravancampeggio was extremely helpful with campsite information/ airport transfers to and from Pisa etc. and her excellent English was a real confidence booster. The camper had the full package with toilet, shower, 3 way fridge freezer as well as electric hookup, so we could us the public camper parking sites which seem to be in most Italian towns (Look out for the signposts with a camper van poised over a ditch) These normally have sewage/dirty water disposal points but obviously no hook-ups, so we had to be careful with the battery for more than one night. We brought our folding bikes from the UK which we used a lot including on a day trip to Elba. The camper had a rack for the bikes which made it really simple. Advice? Only about half of the privately owned sites are open in October, so ask for the location of public sites before you set out from the tourist information offices. Get good maps (1:200000 or bigger is good) Also, if you're going in either early or late season, the nights can be cold, so an extra blanket or two is essential.
Best free site? One stood out from the rest - the small camper-only parking space near the Coop supermarket and marina in Rossignano Solvay(south of Livorna) which overlooks the splendid local beaches. Great for an early morning dip.
Best private site? Torre Pendente in Pisa. It's easy to find and only 800 metres from the leaning tower and the north siode of town. Excellent facilities and they also have cheap cabins (45 Euros for 2 people) that you can rent if you need a night's accomodation on your way to or from Pisa airport. Experiences to avoid? We got caught on a coast road that was in a zone restricted to vehicles under 2.3 metres by accident and this cost us a fine of 71 Euros, so watch out for those zone signs. They mean business!
Para nosotros ha sido ésta la primera vez que hemos alquilado y viajado en una autocaravana. La verdad es que, además de ser una forma muy cómoda de visitar un país, ha sido una experiencia inolvidable.
La atención que Victoria nos dispensó desde el primer momento es algo de lo que muchas empresas deberían tomar buena nota. Vivimos en Holanda y desde allí por internet nos pusimos en contacto con ella, y en seguida recibimos toda la información. También nos vino a buscar al hotel donde pasamos la primera noche y el último día nos llevó al aeropuerto. Durante nuestra estancia llamamos a Victoria varias veces para pedirle diversas informaciones. Esto es un servicio que no se encuentra en todas partes, creánme porque nosotros viajamos mucho y hemos visitado numerosos países.
El viaje en la autocaravana fue fantástico. La autocaravana era casi nueva y muy limpia. No tuvimos ningún problema y pudimos visitar diferentes lugares. Estuvimos en Venecia, Lago di garda, Lago Maggiore, Lucca, Marina de Pisa, Pisa, Lago Trasimeno y Florencia en tan solo 10 días. La mayoría de veces pasamos la noche en un camping, dos veces paramos en una area especial para autocaravanas. Esa es la ventaja de viajar con autocaravana, si te gusta un lugar te quedas, si no te marchas a buscar otro.
Nuestra experiencia con Caravan Campeggio ha sido muy positiva y lo recomendamos a todo el mundo. Las autocaravanas son excelentes y el servicio inmejorable. No sólo el hecho de que Victoria hable espanol es remarcable sino también su devoción y atención a los clientes.

“In May 2007 my family and I had planned a holiday in Tuscany, Italy. We looked on the internet and we found “Caravan Campeggio” in Pistoia. As we made contact we received a message from Victoria Guillen. She occurred to be a pleasant, friendly and professional person to deal with. She also arranged a room for us in Hotel Pace in Pisa. We would arrive in Pisa at midnight, so we needed a place for the first night. It was Victoria who arranged this. She managed to have us stacked in a comfortable room in Hotel Pace, for we were with two adults and three childeren. Thus, a nice way to begin our holiday with.
The next morning Victoria came to collect us in our hotel in Pisa and drove us to Pistoia. There we found a campervan ready for us. It was a practical new and modern type of van. Since we came from outside Italy we received a discount of 30%, which is a reasonable amount of money! After all the businesslike arrangements, we started our tour.
It was really nice touring around in this particularly side of Italy. The nights we mostly stayed in special camperplaces. They usually were free of charge, sometimes we were only had to pay a parkingfee of some euros. Two times we stayed at a camping. The first night we booked at camping “Michael Angelo” near Florence. In a walk of merely 10 minutes we easily reached the center of the town.
After Florence we visited: Radda, Sienna, Buonconvento, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Volterra, Luca and Pisa.
We really liked our stay in Italy and my wish for the future is to come back again and to visit and see an other side of Italy. I definitely will try to hire a campervan via Victoria again!”
“In mei 2007 had ik samen met mijn gezin een vakantie gepland in Toscane, Italië. We zochten op het internet en vonden een bedrijf genaamd “Caravan Campeggio” in Pistoia. Toen we informatie opvroegen, kregen we contact met Victoria Guillen. Zij bleek vriendelijk en professioneel mens te zijn. Omdat we tegen middernacht in Pisa zouden arriveren, hadden we een hotelkamer nodig voor de eerste nacht. Dat bleek voor Victoria geen probleem te zijn. Zij boekte voor ons een comfortabele kamer in Hotel Pace. Wij waren immers met twee volwassenen en drie kinderen. Al met al een fijne manier om onze vakantie mee te beginnen.
De volgende morgen kwam Victoria ons ophalen in ons hotel in Pisa en bracht ons naar Pistoia. Daar stond een camper voor ons klaar. Het was een bijna nieuwe en moderne type camper. Omdat we van buiten Italië kwamen, ontvingen we een korting op de totale prijs van 30%, wat een behoorlijk bedrag is! Na alle zakelijke besoignes, konden we onze toer starten.
Het is echt fijn om in deze speciale streek van Italië rond te rijden. De nachten brachten we vaak door in speciaal ingerichte camperplaatsen. Meestal waren deze gratis, soms hoefden we slechts parkeergeld ter hoogte van enkele euro’s te betalen. Twee keer bleven we staan op een camping. De eerste nacht hadden we een plaats geboekt op camping “Micheal Angelo” bij Florence. In een wandeling van slechts 10 minuten liepen we zo naar het centrum van de stad.
Na Florence bezochten we: Radda, Sienna, Buonconvento, Montepulciano, San Gimignano, Volterra, Luca and Pisa.
We genoten echt van ons verblijf in Italië en mijn wens is om in de nabije toekomst terug te keren voor een bezoek aan een ander gedeelte van Italië. Ik zal zeker proberen om weer een camper via Victoria te huren.”
